Lang School celebrates student achievements and 2020 Recognition Awards

Last month, the Lang School had the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of Lang’s Class of 2020 during a virtual graduation celebration. During the event, several Lang graduates were recognized for their academic, extra-curricular, and teaching achievements within the Lang School.
This year, the Lang School recognized:
Emily Robinson
Emily Robinson received the Bachelor of Commerce Leadership Prize, which recognizes a graduating student who has contributed significantly to the BComm program through extra-curricular leadership activities and academic achievements.
Sarah Dunning
Sarah Dunning received the Lang Distinguished Scholar Award (undergraduate), which is presented annual to the student with the highest overall average.
Sarah also received the Lang School’s nomination for the William C. Winegard Medal in recognition of both academic achievement and contributions to university and community life.
Simon Oppedisano
Simon Oppedisano received the Lang School’s nomination for the D.F. Forster Medal (Masters) in recognition of academic achievement, motivation, leadership and citizenship.
Ye (Sandy) Shen
Sandy Shen received the Lang School’s nomination for the D.F. Forster Medal (Doctoral) in recognition of outstanding academic achievement, involving extracurricular activities, leadership and citizenship.
Chaoyi Chen
Chaoyi Chen received the Lang School’s nomination for the Governor General’s Medal in recognition of outstanding academic achievement.
