October 18 HTM students grace cover of SNAP Guelph’s October issue
The faces of CME’s best and brightest are even more present in and around Guelph this month, with Housing and Tourism Management students gracing the cover of the October issue of SNAP Guelph. The photo-centric monthly newspaper chronicles community events in and around Guelph.
SNAP Guelph attended HTM’s Garden2Table event Sept. 18 at the Guelph Centre for Organic Farming, located in the University of Guelph’s Arboretum. In addition to a front-cover photo of students Anthony Gabaldon, Laren Zimbalatti, Julia Withers, Deanna Berry and Vanessa Graves, the issue also featured a brief story on the event.
The Garden2Table program aims to provide children with an enjoyable education about food, agriculture and the natural environment. The September open house saw student-grown produced prepared by top-notch chefs and fed to a curious (and hungry) public, with all proceeds going back into the program itself.
Visit the SNAP Guelph website for more coverage of the Garden2Table open house.
