Lang’s School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management receives $50,000 Estate Gift
The Lang’s School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management (HFTM) announced a $50,000 gift from the estate of Louise Bedell, the late wife of the hospitality school’s founding director George Bedell. The money will support the HFTM 50th Legacy Campaign.
U of G launches scholarship for Lang real estate students with support from ICSC Foundation Canada
The University of Guelph is launching a new scholarship next Fall with support from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Foundation Canada.
The new ICSC Foundation Canada Scholarship is designed to support the ICSC Foundation’s mission of creating the next generation of leaders in the retail real estate industry. The annual scholarship of $5,000 will be awarded to a Bachelor of Commerce student registered in the Real Estate major.
Lang researchers among latest SSHRC funding recipients
Two Lang researchers are among eleven University of Guelph research projects that will receive nearly $600,000 in federal funding.
The funding comes from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Development Insight Grants program aimed at supporting long-term research initiatives that address complex issues involving people and societies.
