A recent symposium held at the University of Guelph highlighted qualitative research within an area typically associated with numbers – accounting. Led by professor Philippe Lassou, the three-day Qualitative Accounting Research Symposium united international researchers to discuss and debate a wide-range of topics related to this area. It also welcomed keynote speaker, and noted accounting scholar, Trevor Hopper from the School of Business, Management and Economics at the University of Sussex.

More than 850 first-year Bachelor of Commerce students recently got an introduction into managing ethical dilemmas as part of a live case competition in their Introduction to Business class.
