Entrepreneurship is woven into the culture of Lang business academics and research.
The John F. Wood Centre for Business and Student Enterprise strives to develop innovators and entrepreneurs at the University of Guelph.
Through their Hub Incubator program, the Wood Centre offers expertise, mentorship and funding for student and alumni budding entrepreneurs. Their programs and workshops guide student entrepreneurs to solve problems with critical solutions and ensure students are ready for the next steps in their entrepreneurial journey.

John F. Wood Centre for Business and Student Enterprise
The Hub of student entrepreneurship at U of G, the John F. Wood Centre has helped launch over 150 businesses and counting. The Centre provides entrepreneurship training, mentorship, support and resources - including an innovative Makerspace - for aspiring U of G student and alumni entrepreneurs.
