Victoria Sanderson, M.Sc. candidate in the department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, will defend her thesis on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. (online).  Her co-advisors are Dr. Melanie Wills and Dr. Cezar Khursigara.   Thesis Title:  "Improving Lyme disease direct detection: Identification of a novel method to enrich for Borrelia in blood, and comparing surveys and serology in a chronically ill patient cohort"

Megan Brasher, Ph.D. candidate in the department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, will defend her thesis on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at 9:30 am. Her advisor is Dr. Marc Coppolino. Thesis Title:  "The regulation of Syntaxin4 and VAMP2 is required for invadopodium formation and extracellular matrix invasion in tumor cells".

Carys Jones, Ph.D. candidate in the department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, will defend her thesis on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 1:30 pm.  Her co-advisors are Drs. Anthony Clarke and Dr. Cezar Khursigara.  Thesis Title: "Structure, function, and inhibition of peptidoglycan O-acetyltransferase A from Staphylococcus aureus"

Julia Brott,  M.Sc. candidate in the department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, will defend her thesis on Wednesay, April 15, 2020 at 9:30 am.   Her advisor is Dr. John Vessey. Thesis Title:  " The RNA-binding protein heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein K is responsible for regulating the fate decisions of neural precursor cells of the developing cerebral cortex ".

Matiyo Ojohomon, M.Sc. candidate in the department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, will defend her thesis on Thursday, April 9, 2020, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. (online)    Her advisor is Dr. John Dawson.
