MCB's Dr. Emma Allen-Vercoe will be presenting at this year's Gairdner Foundation’s annual research symposium.    More Information:   The Gairdner Foundation’s annual research symposia convene world-renowned scientists to discuss relevant global health topics and share their cutting-edge research with audiences.

The MCB Graduate Student Council and The Fifth will be hosting Claire Martin as part of our upcoming Senior Seminar Series on Thursday, October 26th from 4:30-5:30PM. For more information, see the attached poster and abstract below:

Join us Oct. 25 for the 2017 Gairdner Lecture, “Untold Stories of the National Microbiology Laboratory” presented by Frank Plummer. Plummer is the recipient 2016 Canada Gairdner Wightman Laureate for his groundbreaking research in Africa in understanding HIV transmission and his leadership at the Canadian Microbiology Laboratory with pivotal roles on SARS, influenza and Ebola epidemics.
