Final Oral Examination - Masters of Science - Piriththiv Dhavarasa

Piriththiv Dhavarasa, M.Sc. candidate in the department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, will defend his thesis on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. in SSC 2315.    His advisor is Dr. Joseph Yankulov. MCB’s Adopt-A-Family 2017

MCB’s Adopt-A-Family 2017 All gifts will be appreciated!!  If you donate a gift (new/packaged only), please submit your sales receipt. Income tax receipts will be issued for donations costing $20 or greater. Monetary donations will be used for vouchers (groceries, hydro, etc.) and to ensure that all children receive clothing as well as something from their wish lists. Again, income tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or greater. Contributions will be accepted until 4 p.m. on Friday, December 1 by Laleh Hatefi in SSC 4478 (MCB Admin Suite).

Joseph Ciufo, M.Sc. candidate in the department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, will defend his thesis on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. in SSC 2315.    His advisor is Dr. Anthony Clarke. 2017 Ann Oaks Lecture in Biological Sciences

2017 Ann Oaks Lecture in Biological Sciences November 28 @ 1:00 pm The College of Biological Sciences is pleased to host the Ann Oaks Lecture in Biological Sciences with presenter Julie LaRoche, CRC Tier 1 at Dalhousie University. LaRoche will discuss the multifaceted role of diazotrophs in the ocean during her presentation on Nov. 28. All are welcome to attend.
