I decided to study at U of G because of the amazing landscape architecture program! I loved that it combines science and design, as well as being the only accredited undergraduate landscape architecture program in Canada. I had only heard good things about the community and culture here at Guelph.
When I was in high school, I knew that I was passionate about the environment and sustainability, but I didn’t know what the best way was to get involved. U of G provided me with the flexibility to choose among four majors in the environmental sciences degree.
I knew I wanted to study agriculture and the University of Guelph is world-known for its agriculture degree. I wanted a safe environment to learn and explore my career options while obtaining the highest quality of education. I knew I could take my time to grow here.
The University of Guelph was my dream school from grade 9! I have loved animals and agriculture my entire life and Guelph is so well known for their agriculture and veterinary programs. I visited the campus in grade 11 and immediately felt at home and welcomed with open arms. The campus was beautiful, and the food options were incredible (especially because I am vegetarian)!
