New Manager, Finance and Administration

The Ontario Agricultural College (OAC) Dean's Office is pleased to welcome Matthew Lawrie as the new Manager, Finance and Administration. Lawrie will begin the role starting April 1, 2022. 

In this new role, Lawrie will support revenue growth initiatives and advance operational efficiency across OAC. He will support multi-year sustainability reporting and help the college adapt to changes in sector-wide funding and university budget modeling. Lawrie will identify opportunities to support and evolve college operations, while increasing support of financial activities to OAC’s academic units

Lawrie joins OAC from Physical Resources, where he has served as Manager, Accounting and Administrative Operations since 2014. He has significant experience in strategic planning and data-driven process improvement. Lawrie is a Certified Professional Accountant and received his bachelor of arts in psychology and master of business administration from U of G.
