New Program Counsellors’ Assistant

The OAC Dean’s Office is pleased to welcome Robyn Purcell-Sturge as the new Program Counsellors’ Assistant. She began in the role on Monday, February 7, 2022.  

As the Program Counsellors’ Assistant, Purcell-Sturge acts as the first point of contact for the students in the Bachelor of Bio-Resource Management, Bachelor of Indigenous Environmental Science and Practice, Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences and Diploma in Turfgrass Management programs.

Purcell-Sturge joins OAC from the Upper Grand District School Board where she worked as a supply and long-term occasional teacher. Her previous experience includes positions as a music teacher with Lester B. Pearson School Board and an assistant administrator with the Salvation Army Camp Lac L’Achigan. She holds a Letter of Accomplishment in Academic Advising from the University of Manitoba and a B.Ed. and B.A. from McGill University.

Students, or other clients of the program counselling office, should contact Purcell-Sturge for general inquiries, to book appointments with the Program Counsellors (see below) or who require help wayfinding the various offices and services available to students.
