Description

A unique opportunity for all U of G faculty, researchers and staff to connect with Elizabeth Boston, Director, Mathematical, Environmental and Physical Sciences, a visiting representative from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada​ (NSERC).

This NSERC community engagement visit will provide researchers, students and other stakeholders an opportunity to learn more about some recent program and policy developments. Topics to be discussed include:

  • program updates/statistics
  • investments by the federal government in science
  • Framework on Equity, Diversity, Inclusion
  • policy and strategy updates

All researchers are invited to also attend the session that immediately follows: NSERC Discovery Grants:  Grant-Writing Information Session.
