Effective records management practices ensure the accuracy and accessibility of information under the custody or control of the University of Guelph. By preparing and following a Record Retention and Disposition Policy and Record Retention and Disposition Schedule, functional units of the University can manage the records for which they are responsible in a consistent manner.
