Dr. Stephen LeBlanc, Chair of the Senate Research Board, commenced the meeting with a territorial land acknowledgment.
The fourth Senate meeting of the 2022-23 session was held on April 3, 2023, and was chaired by President Charlotte Yates.
Dr. Michèle Bowring, Chair of the Senate Honours and Awards Committee, commenced the meeting with a territorial land acknowledgment.
The President, Dr. Charlotte Yates, offered oral remarks and began by sharing wishes for success to students at a high pressure time, as well as reminding them to call upon the University for support when they need it.
The third Senate meeting of the 2022-23 session was held on February 6, 2023, and was chaired by President Charlotte Yates.
Dr. Ian Newby-Clark, Chair of the Senate Committee on Quality Assurance, commenced the meeting with a territorial land acknowledgment.
The second Senate meeting of the 2022-23 session was held on November 21, 2022 and was chaired by President Charlotte Yates.
Dr. Soha Eid Moussa, Chair of the Board of Undergraduate Studies, commenced the meeting with a territorial land acknowledgment.
The President, Dr. Charlotte Yates, offered oral remarks, welcoming Senators and commenting on renewed on-campus activity and community engagement events.

The first regular meeting of the Board of Governors for the 2022-23 year was held October 19, 2022, at the University fo Guelph Arboretum. The meeting was chaired by Board Chair Nancy Brown Andison.
The meeting began with a welcome to Governors offered by the Board Chair, and a welcome to guests in attendance and to those watching online.
President Charlotte Yates offered oral remarks, including an update on fall activities on campus. A presentation on the University’s Global Engagement Plan was provided by the Assistant Vice-President, International.
The seventh Senate meeting of the 2021-22 session was held on June 6, 2022 and was chaired by President Charlotte Yates.

Dr. Rene Van Acker, Dean, Ontario Agricultural College, commenced the meetings with a territorial land acknowledgment.
Following the closed session meeting, Senate elected Dr. Mary Anne Chambers as the University’s 10th Chancellor. A formal installation will follow in one of the June 2022 convocation ceremonies.
