Wendy Shearer
Wendy has paired landscape architecture with the conservation of cultural landscapes; she is Managing Director of Cultural Heritage for MHPC Planning Design and Landscape Architecture and has contributed to the Standards and Guidelines for Historic Places in Canada as she has proven herself a leader in this field. She is also a teacher, having been an adjunct professor at the University of Guelph in the past and is now teaching a Cultural Landscape Course at the University of Victoria. She has also taught many by mentoring young professionals, providing valuable experience through her unique and interesting projects. Wendy graduated in 1981, was made a fellow of the CSLA in 2011 and is based in Kitchener, Ontario.
