Rural Symposium

The Rural Symposium is an annual opportunity for University of Guelph graduate students to showcase their rural research to policymakers, policy analysts, and program staff from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness (OMAFA). The event facilitates knowledge mobilization and network building between graduate students at the University of Guelph, researchers, and OMAFA. The event is co-hosted by OMAFA, the Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance, and the School for Environmental Design and Rural Development.

2025 Rural Symposium

The 2025 Rural Symposium will take place on February 11, 2025 from 9.00 am - 3.30 pm. The event will be held in the Conference Centre at 1 Stone Road West. Registration details will be posted shortly.
