Karen Landman
As a full time faculty member and the MLA coordinator at the University of Guelph, Karen is a wealth of knowledge and support for students studying at all levels in the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development. She has had experience in the field as both a designer and a planner and is now as a researcher interested in the link between planning and design, among other things. Karen is a member of the BLA class of 1989 and went on to study Rural Planning & Development at a Masters level at the University of Guelph and geography at Queen’s University to earn her doctorate. But Karen should be most noted for the way she tirelessly and intelligently continues to give of herself, while always managing to welcome all with a smile.
