Jim Sackville
A pioneer of landscape architecture in Atlantic Canada, James is the founder and a principal of BDA Landscape Architects which has provided a platform to explore ideas of sustainability with communities including tourism strategies, downtown and waterfront planning, open space corridors, and parks. BDA have been recognized nationally and internationally for their work since its establishment in 1979. James finds Atlantic Canada an ideal region to practice landscape architecture with its rich history and culture, extremely resourceful people, and astounding natural landscape. Jim is a part of the BLA 1974 class and is based in Sussex, New Brunswick.
