Take part with your family, friends, colleagues, neighbours in this fun FREE online event with live music performed by a popular local artist. Learn and practice postures (Asana), breath control (Pranayama), yoga gestures (Mudra), chanting, meditation (singing bowl) and relaxation. Feel calm, peaceful, strong, flexible, resilient, relaxed, and rejuvenated. Special guest for the event is Indira Naidoo-Harris, Associate Vice-President, Diversity and Human Rights, University of Guelph.

The UN draft resolution 69/131 establishing the International Day of Yoga was endorsed by a record 175 member states on 11 December 2014.

U of G Yoga and Meditation Collective's brand-new website will also be launched during the IDY celebrations to Improve Life - mental and physical health, and well-being - of all U of Guelph communities, campuses and beyond.
