This Be Well, Be Safe Week, "Voices of Joy" invites participants to explore the essence of joy through persona poetry, embodying the perspectives of objects or places that bring them joy. Through guided writing prompts and sample poem readings, we'll uncover the beauty and significance of everyday items that bring us happiness. This workshop offers a creative journey of introspection, connection, and poetic expression.

About the Facilitator
Maria Giesbrecht is a poet based in Guelph, Ontario. Her work has previously been published in Contemporary Verse 2, Talon Review, samfiftyfour, Gyroscope, and is forthcoming in Queens Quarterly.
