Details

How can we achieve a still mind amid the chaos of a new school year? Where do we turn to access the voice of our deepest wisdom?

Take a break and join us for a fresh, fall breeze Classical Yoga class (FREE)  on U of G's beautiful, historic, sprawling Johnston Green, on Tuesday, September 24 at 12 P.M. As we harvest the fruits of summer, the natural world begins to fall away in preparation for renewal. At this moment, we invite you to turn toward the inner sun within us as the physical light outside starts waning. Harmony, balance, and the opportunity to let go of what no longer serves us are the offerings of the equinox and our practice.

Remember to bring your yoga mat and water bottle!  Bring your own nutritious lunch, practice mindful eating, and have some friendly conversations after the class. All abilities and ages are welcome to participate. Chairs will be provided. The event is open to all - staff, faculty, students, alumni, and visitors. Note: Try not to eat at least one hour before your yoga practice. We are looking forward to welcoming you!

We wish you all a successful Fall Semester in mind, body, and spirit.
