1) 0.5 mL plasma (preferred) or 2) 0.5 mL serum.

Collection Protocol

1) Collect blood into a purple-top blood collection tube, separate plasma and then transfer into a plain tube, containing no additives, freeze. 2) Collect blood into a red-top tube. Serum samples are acceptable alternatives if centrifuged and separated shortly after clotting.
