2019 KTT & GLAAIR Funding Program Information Sessions

In preparation for the Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance's KTT and Gryphon's LAAIR Funding Programs, we are hosting two Town Hall information sessions. At the Town Hall program information sessions you can learn more about the KTT Funding Program and the Gryphon's LAAIR Funding Program, how to apply and connect with Program Support Staff for guidance on preparing a strong proposal. Town Hall program information sessions are open for all to attend. There is no need to register for a session.

Open House: Ontario Beef Research Centre

Join us on Friday, September 27, 2019 for an open house at the new Ontario Beef Research Centre. The event will take place between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at 6258 2nd Line E, Centre Wellington, ON. Beef farmers, agri-food industry, University of Guelph, Beef Farmers of Ontario and Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural affairs staff and the Centre Wellington community are invited to attend.

Celebrating Dairy Research Excellence

Since January 2016, the Elora Research Station – Dairy Facility has supported more than 25 research projects that contribute to our provincial and national dairy sectors. Our Government and industry stakeholders and valued partners were invited back to the Dairy Facility to celebrate more than three years of research excellence. U of G researchers and graduate students led guests on a tour to learn more about how the Dairy Facility is supporting discovery, learning and outreach.

Growing Agri-Food KTT in Ontario: Best Practices for Mobilizing Knowledge

The Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance has prepared a manual of best Knowledge Translation and Transfer (KTT) practices in agri-food and rural research. To share the findings of this manual, please join us for a one-day knowledge exchange event to find out about new and useful approaches in KTT, hear from researchers about how they have successfully used KTT best practices to increase the impact of their research, and participate in workshops to build your skills in conducting KTT activities. KTT Funding Program Information Webinar

The deadline to apply for the Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance's KTT Funding Program is January 17th, 2019. In preparation we are hosting a final information session online via Webex. During this session you can learn more about the KTT Funding Program, how to apply and ask Program Support Staff any questions you may have. This session is open for all to attend.
