Anyone who is interested in the potato industry is invited to see the new variety demonstration plots and learn about current research. Chipping, fresh market and French fry types will be on display in the field. This includes elite selections from the National Potato Breeding Program-AAFC, promising lines from industry breeders and many more!
10:00-10:30: Coffee and welcome at the building
10:30-11:45: Tour of variety trial plots with Vanessa Currie
11:45- 12:30: Lunch provided at the building
Join OBG's annual research day, plot tour and BBQ. The day begins with research presentations at 1pm. At 4pm, Ted Vanhie will lead us on a tour of the plots at the Huron Research Station and the day ends with a delicious steak BBQ dinner. Details of the research presentations will be published as they become available.
