KX Event: Guelph Family Health Study

OMAFRA's Research and Innovation Branch (@ONAgFoodRuralRI) facilitated a live Twitter Q/A session with Dr. Jess Haines, from the department of Family Relations and Applied Nutrition at Guelph University. The Q/A session provided an opportunity to engage with Jess on her research project, which explores methods to effectively educate families on healthy eating and how it can reduce risk of obesity among preschool children.

The Knowledge Mobilization Summer Institute included three days of learning and skill development in the field of knowledge mobilization (KMb).  Hands-on workshops and networking with professionals provided a unique opportunity for early career  KMb individuals to develop a solid foundation of understanding of the key principles of KMb, collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and evaluation.
