First Rural History Roundtable for Fall 2022! Dr. Andrew Watson, University of Saskatchewan: Poor Soils and Rich Folks: Tourism as Rural History

The first History Grad Café will meet Tuesday, October 4 at 12:30 pm in the History Department Lounge (Second Floor MacKinnon Extension). Come hang out and get to know the other students in the program! There's a Keurig machine for use in the lounge or feel free to bring coffee from elsewhere. We hope to continue holding weekly grad cafés throughout the rest of the semester (excepting the week of Thanksgiving). Open to all History Graduate Students and Faculty

Screening and discussion of the documentary Migrant Dreams, by director Min Sook Lee.  When/where: Thursday, September 29, at 7pm at the 10C community space, located at 42 Carden St. (opposite Guelph city hall). We’ll be meeting in the Community Classroom located on the 4th floor. The event is free, and open to all.
