On Friday, November 20th, the Improvisation Reading Group in tandem with the speaking series "Thinking Spaces" will host a virtual event starting at 3pm (EST) featuring the singer, songwriter, and musician Joni NehRita. 

School of English and Theatre Studies undergraduate fourth-year students in Professor Diana Manole's creative writing class will be reading their poetry over Zoom on Friday November 20th starting at 11:30am. Join the School of Languages and Literatures upcoming public lecture featuring Julieta Alejandra Arriaga Suárez of Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán in Mexico. Her research focuses on Yucatec Mayan children, and explores how their lived space, social relationships and structures, influence their knowledge and practices, and how these are affected by cultural continuity and change.
