...WHERE THE HEART IS

Join the University of Guelph Symphonic and Gryphon Singers Choirs at their upcoming performance entitled "...WHERE THE HEART IS," presented by the School of Fine Art and Music.  The concert features Dona nobis pacem by Ralph Vaughan Williams with soloists Karla Oxley, Camilla Cook, sopranos, and Matthew Oxley, baritone. Pre-concert talk (free with concert ticket) starts at 7:00pm Concert starts at 7:30pm. Ticket prices:  $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, $10 students and children 12 and under are free.

"Modulating Love" with Dr. MEGABYTE

Born with the brain of a robot and the heart of a bull, Dr. Megabyte stretches technology to its limits in the pursuit of sound as sensation, emotion, and introspection. In his performances, you will hear found sounds mixed with synthesized sounds and noise, then transformed through time and frequency manipulation. Matthew James Borland (a.k.a. Dr. Megabyte) is also giving open lectures and demonstrations in ALEX 071 on October 22-24 from 10:00 am to 11:20 am.
