ASTRA & SOFAM Visiting Artists & Speaker Series presents

Dr. William Noel is the curator of Rare Books and Manuscripts at The Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, Maryland.  His conservation and imaging of a  thirteenth century prayer book, The Archimedes Palimpsest, will be discussed at the Science Complex Atrium on Tuesday February 28, 2012 at 7pm.  The Archimedes Palimpsest contains two erased texts written several centuries earliesr, The Method and Stomachion, found no where else.
