VISITING ARTISTS & SPEAKERS presents: Thomas Nozkowski
The Studio Art Visiting Artists & Speakers program is pleased to present an illustrated talk by Thomas Nozkowski at the University of Guelph. The drawings and paintings of Thomas Nozkowski present a highly imaginative and endlessly inventive cast of abstract visual elements that play out in an evocative yet causally suspended pictorial narrative. His work is represented in the most distinguished art collections worldwide, from MoMA and the Metropolitan Museum in New York to the Irish Museum of Modern Art and the National Gallery of Canada. Thomas Nozkowski is represented by Pace Gallery, which concurrently presented two separate exhibitions of his drawings and his paintings in February 2013.
