Integrative Biology seminars are held Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in SSC 2315. Coffee and cookies at 11 a.m. All interested are welcome to attend.

Learn about careers that work on challenges in neuroscience.  Join alumna, Taylor Manning, who will talk about her education, career pathway, and her current role as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Apex Trials. Taylor's presentation will be followed by a question and answer period moderated by Julia Leary, Career Advisor (jleary@uoguelph.ca).

Please join us for the College of Biological Science's Festive Celebration! There will be brief remarks from the Dean, a cold buffet, passed hors d’oeuvres and refreshments. A cash bar will also be available.

Dean Dr. Maz Fallah will be hosting a CBS Town Hall on Nov. 25 at 12 p.m. to discuss the implications of the federal budget on the college and potential opportunities. There will be time to ask any questions you might have.

Dr. Brian Stevens, the Wildlife Pathologist at Canadian Wildlife Health Cooperative will present “The Role of Wildlife Disease Surveillance in Advancing One Health“. This talk will explore the concept and importance of wildlife disease surveillance, highlighting the role of the Canadian Wildlife Health Cooperative (CWHC), the organization responsible for leading this work in Canada. It will also examine the connection between wildlife disease surveillance and the One Health approach, using examples of disease to illustrate how surveillance supports One Health outcomes.
