Adam Riddell Presents at the Canadian Organic Invitational Virtual Seminar (CORGI-Virtual Seminar)

On February 6, 2025, Adam Riddell, a PhD candidate in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Guelph, presented at the Canadian Organic Invitational Virtual Seminar (CORGI-Virtual Seminar).

The CORGI-Virtual Seminar is a community-building effort hosted by the Chemical Institute of Canada (CIC). Speakers are invited to present their research to a national audience of organic chemistry researchers from industry, academia, and alternative career paths.

Riddell’s seminar, titled “The Nature and Chemical Utility of Proximal Boron Functionalities on the S-Alkylation of Sulfenic Acid Anions,” showcased a variety of projects from his doctoral research in Professor Adrian Schwan’s lab.
