Lynne Mitchell is the University of Guelph's International Liaison Officer responsible for the development, coordination and fostering of internationalization across all activities at the University. The University of Guelph includes Internationalization as a strategic direction for the institution and Global Understanding as a learning objective in teaching and learning. The ILO has responsibility to champion internationalization across the campuses in all facets of teaching/learning, research, campus life and student development by providing knowledge and advice to those engaged in these activities day-to-day. The ILO works to connect University faculty, staff and students to international collaboration opportunities, program and project funding and other opportunities to internationalize the campus and curriculum.
