1 in 5 Mental Well-Being Panel Discussion

Date and Time

Details

The University of Guelph is putting on their sixth annual 1 in 5 Mental Well-being Awareness Week from November 6th to 12th. With an estimated one of five people in Canada affected by a mental health challenge every year, the purpose of this week is to get you to think about your mental well-being: how to improve it and how to maintain it. Join other students in eliminating the stigma surrounding mental health challenges by attending some of our free workshops and by stopping at Raithby Porch for a t-shirt to show your support for mental well-being. You can get these awesome t-shirts for FREE anytime between 11:00am-2:00pm on Monday November 7th.

The main event of the week is the panel discussion, where a panel of UofG students will share their own experiences with mental health challenges. Don’t forget to wear your 1-in-5 t-shirt all day in support!
