Spend 3 weeks learning about Guatemalan culture, history and society.  Develop the conceptual and theoretical knowledge to be able to critically analyze the advantages and disadvantages of social businesses. The program will consist of 5 days of classroom lectures on the Guelph campus followed by two weeks of visits with various communities and social businesses in Guatemala.   

Preference will be given to students who are majoring in International Development Studies, but students from other disciplines are also welcome to apply.
