HFTM students enjoy the cocktail hour event

Cocktail Hour with Cameron Bogue of Earls Restaurants

HFTM students recently had the pleasure of meeting and creating cocktails with Cameron Bogue, Beverage Director of Earls Kitchen & Bar.

Cameron has developed new cocktails and modernized fresh and classic cocktails for the Earls bar program for 65 restaurants throughout Canada and the USA.  Along with maintaining the cocktail program, he also maintains the Earls beer program and has created different regional craft beer programs.

NEW Beer Seminars offered in the Fall

The School is thrilled to announce the offering of beer education.  With the success of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) certification courses, it made sense to look into beer as our next step.

The beer seminar series will launch in October, offering 'Beer Basics' in October, followed by 'Canadian Brewing Traditions" in January 2017, and 'Farmhouse Fermentation: Beer & Cheese' in March 2017.

2016 OHI Top 30 Under 30 Recognizes Four from HFTM

The Top 30 Under 30 is an annual recognition program from the Ontario Hostelry Institute (OHI) that celebrates the hospitality and foodservice industry's top 30 young professionals in all sectors.  This high profile recognition program celebrates and recognizes future leaders of the hospitality and foodservice industry who are and will make a difference!
