The professional association HFTP has agreed to cover the costs of sending two students annually to their HITEC conference. The students will work the event, which is one of the world’s largest boasting an attendance of approximately 7,500 industry professionals. The students will also make a presentation at iHITA, which is the academic conference associated with HITEC. This is an amazing opportunity and resume-booster! The University of Guelph is fortunate to be one of twenty Universities worldwide HFTP is offering this to.

Pj's is a student run restaurant in the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at the U of G. Each day offers new daily features and themes as created by the student groups running the events. PJ's is committed to raising awareness of healthy eating habits and this semester they offered nutritional analysis on lunch menu items.
The School invites applications for one tenure-track position in the area of hospitality service leadership at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

Congratulations to our fine athletes, Emily Jago (HAFA 4th year) winning the Women's Rowing MVP Award AND Jade Papke (TMGT 2nd year) winning the Women's Wrestling MVP Award!!
