After discussing her new-found interest with Professor Bruce McAdams, Caitlyn Pedersen launched an independent study project to develop a new student-run, wine-focused website for Guelph’s oenophiles and wine enthusiasts.

PJs To Host Canadian Federation of Business School Deans Conference Luncheon

The University of Guelph is hosting the Canadian Federation of Business School Deans (CFBSD) Conference from October 15-17, 2014. PJs luncheon for the Business School Deans will be held on Thursday, October 16th from 12:00 - 1:30. It will be a great showcase of PJs, HFTM and our students to this group of Canadian Business School Deans (approx. 45 participants).

There is more to business than dollars and cents. That was Trent Tucker’s message to hundreds of first-year business students during inaugural “Captains of Industry” class tours in early September intended to introduce business concepts by highlighting campus history.

New Faculty Positions as the School Grows!

The School invites applications for two tenure-track (Assistant/Associate/Full) Professors in Lodging Management.

Responsibilities include instruction in the Bachelor of Commerce, Masters and/or PhD (Management) programs, the pursuit of scholarly research, and industry relations.  The successful applicant will be expected to play a leadership role in the delivery and development of lodging curriculum, research, and service.

Applications will be accepted now until the closing date of December 15th, 2014.
