Economics and finance professors Nikola Gradojevic and Ross McKitrick, marketing and consumer studies professors Sylvain Charlebois and Paulette Padanyi, and organizational management professor Sean Lyons recently contributed their expertise to national publications and television programs.
For the second consecutive year, current and emerging industry leaders will unite at the University of Guelph for the Food and Agriculture Business Seminar where they will examine current trends and challenges in the food industry. Hosted by the Food Institute, the seminar will take place June 5 to 7 and focus on six cases written by University of Guelph faculty and supported by the featured businesses.

Recent research by Avis Devine has rental property owners seeing green, for two reasons. Her study, “Green Certification and Building Performance: Implications for Tangibles and Intangibles " co-authored by Nils Kok from Maastricht University in The Netherlands, shows that environmentally-friendly office properties are not only more sustainable, but can also demand higher rents and lower operating costs.
