The Lang School of Business & Economics is thrilled to announce that Dr. Laurie Barclay, Lang Chair in Leadership and Professor in the Department of Management, has been appointed as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Leadership & Organizational Studies (JLOS).
JLOS, published in association with the Midwest Academy of Management, is dedicated to advancing leadership scholarship, practice, and policy. The journal emphasizes forward-thinking scholarship that addresses key gaps in knowledge, challenges traditional paradigms, and promotes innovative approaches to conceptualizing and assessing leadership. It seeks to publish impactful, unique, and creative research findings that have clear functional value to managers and leaders across various contexts.
Dr. Laurie Barclay's Research
Dr. Barclay’s research focuses on fostering healthy workplace environments through fairness, justice, leadership, and equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). Her work has been widely recognized and published in top-tier journals and she has received numerous awards, including the Ontario Early Researcher Award, and multiple grants from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC).
