OAC's 2024 Welcome Back BBQ

This year’s event is extra special as we celebrate OAC’s 150th anniversary alongside our vibrant community of students, faculty, and staff. The BBQ is a perfect opportunity to reconnect and gear up for the upcoming semester. Arboretum Expo: Tree Day! + Plant Sale

A community celebration of trees and the many exciting things happening in the Arboretum lands! Join for tours of the grounds, trails, gardens, research projects, tree climbing demonstrations, and an in-person plant sale. A Nation's Table Documentary Premiere

The Arrell Food Institute invites you to the premiere screening of A Nation's Table documentary celebrating the legacy of Anita Stewart. Your ticket will include a film screening, a panel discussion, and a post-screening reception catered by University of Guelph's Hospitality Services. This premiere will feature a panel discussion with local food systems experts following the screening.

For 150 years, the University of Guelph’s Ontario Agricultural College has been a powerhouse of innovation and education in food, agriculture, communities and the environment. On May 1st, OAC will officially turn 150 years old. This date signifies an important milestone for OAC, one that will allow the community to come together, reminisce, reconnect and reflect on the impact that the OAC has had on the Canadian and global agri-food system.
