University of Guelph Equine Industry Symposium

The Equine Industry Symposium 2024, taking place on November 19th and 20th, will focus on the updated Equine Code of Practice and its impact on equine welfare. Hosted by experts from the National Farm Animal Care Council (NFACC), the symposium will cover the code's development, its relevance, and its implementation in improving animal care. Attendees will gain insights from international panelists discussing how the code influences equine welfare globally and will have opportunities for interactive Q&A sessions and discussions.

Agriculture Program Information Night 2024

Animal Reach Ahead Day: Equine

Join us on the University of Guelph campus for an Animal Reach Ahead Day related to Equine!   This unique day-long opportunity will include a workshop on equine anatomy, grooming, and a tour of the Ontario Veterinary College.  Students will have the opportunity to engage with students from our Bachelor of Bio-Resource Management, Equine Management degree program, and the Doctorate of Vetinerary Medicine program.
