The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair Education Symposium

The OAC Liaison Program is hosting the Education Symposium at The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. Perfect for teachers, guidance counselors, and high school students, the Symposium will demonstrate how scientific innovations and emerging technologies in STEM fields impact society and careers and are applied to solving real-world problems in food and farming. Enjoy all The Royal has to offer and join in the 100th-anniversary celebration. The first 500 registrants will receive a goodie bag and special agenda of the educational events happening at The Fair.

The theme of this year's event is Food Innovations Coming to a Market Near You. The conversation will be led by our keynote speakers Stephanie Dorsey and Corey Jones who are principles in E2JDJ, a venture looking to support start-ups and entrepreneurs working in the sustainable food space.

You’re invited to the opening of the new Guelph Turfgrass Institute (GTI) on Friday, September 16th! Join us to tour the new state-of-the-art facilities and research plots, and chat with turfgrass researchers on-site.

Time: 11 am (18-holes) & 2 pm (9-holes)  Price: $90 per person for 9 holes at the Valley, $130 per person for 18 holes at East  Grab fellow OAC grads and sign up to enjoy 9-holes at Victoria Valley Golf Club OR 18-holes at Victoria Park East Golf Club!  We promise it will be a great day of golf, networking and connecting with old and new friends.
