I am appealing a decision made under the policy “Academic Accommodation for Students with Disabilities”
The Senate-approved policy “Academic Accommodation for Students with Disabilities”, and the accompanying Guidelines and Procedures are found in Chapter VIII of the Undergraduate Calendar, and Chapter II of the Graduate Calendar.
Decisions made under Sections 6 or 7 of the Guidelines and Procedures may be appealed by the student to the Petitions Committee. The Petitions Committee has the jurisdiction to act as appeal body for:
- a decision denying a specific request for academic accommodation pursuant to the Senate policy on “Academic Accommodation for Students with Disabilities”.
The deadline to appeal to the Petitions Committee is 10 working days from the date of the letter or email informing you of the Chair or Director’s decision. You will need to include the decision letter/ email you received from the Chair or Director in your appeal submission.
