As University Secretary, Ted is responsible for leadership of the University Secretariat. Ted joined the University Secretariat in 2017 and has taken on roles of increasing responsibility, previously serving as Deputy University Secretary where he had responsibility for day-to-day operations and as Associate University Secretary (Compliance & Special Projects) where he had university-wide responsibility for governance special projects, access to information, privacy, records management, and academic and non-academic appeal tribunals.
Ted has a BA (Hons.) and MA in history from Western University and a PhD in history from the University of Guelph.
His published work focuses on the role of public engagement in policy development. He has spoken widely on this topic, including at Global Affairs Canada and the Aga Khan Foundation.
