The Rural Planning and Development graduate program at the University of Guelph is hosting an open house for all prospective students on Tuesday, April 4th. The event will be held in the Landscape Architecture building from 4:30 – 6:30 pm and pizza will be provided. At this event, you can expect the following:

School of Environmental Design and Rural Development - Landscape Architecture MLA Master's Thesis Examination Madison Shortt, a master of landscape architecture candidate in the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, will defend her thesis on "Transforming Southern Ontario Communities Through Street Design:  The Role of Green Infrastructure and Best Practices in Landscape Architecture."

The Winter 2023 Inequity + Justice in Landscape Architecture class will be pinning up a series of posters on DESIGN ACTIVISM in The Pit on Thursday, March 30 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.    Everyone is welcome to come to see posters and learn about landscape architecture and design practices and projects that are working to address inequity and make exciting spaces of justice. Looking forward to seeing you there!

School of Environmental Design and Rural Development – Rural Planning and Development MSc Thesis Examination Anab Siraj, a master student in Rural Planning and Development in the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, will defend their thesis on “How do Rural Youth Make their Voices Heard in Climate Change Planning in Andean Communities?  A Case Study from the Mantaro Valley, Central Peru"

This isn’t a job fair — it’s a casual networking event where students and professionals can mix and mingle and make connections, and it will be hosted online.
