The Rural Policy Learning Commons is hosting a free online webinar titled, "Filipino Nurses Experiences Living & Working in Rural Manitoba: The Key of Policy in Supporting Integration​” on February 23, 2021 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm EDT. The Rural Planning and Development program is hosting a virtual town hall meeting with all current RPD students on February 23 from 12.00-1.00 pm EST. The meeting is an opportunity to check-in, receive program updates, discuss upcoming opportunities, celebrate achievements, and ask your questions. The Rural Symposium is an annual opportunity for University of Guelph graduate students to showcase their rural research to policy makers, policy analysts, and program staff from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA). The event facilitates knowledge mobilisation and network building between graduate students at the University of Guelph, researchers, and OMAFRA . This year's event will be hosted online through Zoom and will profile projects funded through the Ontario Agri-food Innovation Alliance and other OMAFRA supported research.
