Rural Symposium 2020 Abstract Submission Deadline

The Rural Symposium is an annual opportunity for University of Guelph graduate students to showcase their rural research to policy makers, policy analysts, and program staff from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA). The event facilitates knowledge mobilization and network building between graduate students at the University of Guelph, researchers, and OMAFRA . The 2020 Rural Symposium will take place on February 5, 2020, from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm at the Conference Centre at 1 Stone Road in Guelph.

2019 SEDRD Winter Social Party

The School of Environmental Design and Rural Development's Winter Social Party will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at the Italian Canadian Club.  This event is for all graduate and undergraduate students, faculty, sessionals, staff and their guests in SEDRD (including Landscape Architecture, Rural Planning and Development, Capacity Development and Extension, and Rural Studies).   Doors open at 6:30 pm with dinner commencing at 7:00 pm.  Tickets are $40 each and include a full-course buffet dinner, prizes, DJ and dancing.  Cash Bar (bring your ID)
