On October 24th, the Ontario Association of Landscape Archtects (OALA) will be running their annual Halloween themed Curling Bonspiel again at the Guelph Curling Club. The event will begin at 4:00 pm and we are coming off our most successful curling event last year which sold out. Ticket price is $25/person (e-mail Ross Clark at coordinator@oala.ca with your team member names) and the price includes your ice fee and a dinner. Tickets are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment!

EXCHANGE Information Session for Landscape Architecture Students Required for 2nd Year BLA students applying for exchange in the 15/16 academic year.  Friday, October 2 @ 11:30 am Room 125 Landscape Architecture A representative from the Centre for International Programs (CIP) will be giving one of CIP’s mandatory sessions required of all students thinking of going on exchange.  Melinda Vanryn, BLA Counsellor will also be available to answer questions. This session will be tailored specifically to BLA students.  MLA's are welcome to attend.

Members of the Ontario Associates of Landscape Architects (OALA) will be here to speak to students.   Thursday, October 1, 2015  11:30 am Landscape Architecture Pit Free Pizza for students in attendance.  (Please bring your own drinks) This is a fabulous opportunity to meet some of the amazing members of the OALA. They will present information on the merits and process for joining the Association and will answer any questions.
