MSc Thesis Defence - Mark Ferguson

The final examination for Mark Ferguson will be held on September 12, 2013 at 2:00 pm in LA 143.  The thesis is "Improving the Policy Development Process through Social Learning:  An Evaluation of Advisory Committees using the Provincial Nutrient Management Advisory Committee".  John FitzGibbon, Advisor; Wayne Caldwell, Committee Member; Nathan Perkins, Chair. Community Sound(e)Scape Project Featured at Jazz Colloquium

Since 2011, Dr. Helen Hambly and Capacity Development students have been involved with researchers from the University of Guelph Fine Arts project known as Community Sound(e)scapes. This unique project combined intercultural communication, landscapes and audio improvisation. First Nations communities which are part of K-Net Services created and webcasted audio artefacts. A paper entitled "The Shadow of the Crow: Profound Uncertainty in Improvised Community-based New Media" documenting this experience will be presented by Dr.

MLA Thesis Defence - Dayna Gilbert

The final examination for Dayna Gilbert will be held on Tuesday, August 27th, 2013 at 9:30 am in Room 125 of the Landscape Architecture building.  The thesis is "A Climate Change Adaptation Process for Urban Tree Species Selection and Survivability".  Co-Advisors:  Cecelia Paine and Robert Corry, Chair of Exam:  Karen Landman. CSLA 2013 Congress - Winds of Change

OAC Convocation

The summer convocation ceremony for the Ontario Agricultural College will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 4:00 pm  in the Gryphon Fieldhouse.  

SEDRD Convocation Reception

The School will be hosting a reception in the Landscape Architecture building foyer for SEDRD graduates and their guests before the convocation ceremony on Thursday, June 13, 2013.  Light refreshments will be available between 1:30 - 3:30 pm. We look forward to celebrating with our SEDRD graduates.
